Who We Are

We provide an inclusive space for Tucson’s LGBTQIA+ and allied professionals to network and build their businesses while simultaneously educating allies, the Tucson LGBT Chamber of Commerce (AKA “the Gaymber”) approaches advocacy for the LGBTQIA+ community through an economic lens. We believe Inclusive Business is Good Business, and because we know the LGBTQIA+ community is a vital part of America as business owners, employers, employees, and consumers, we work tirelessly to support our local LGBTQ+ and allied business community.

Our mission is to empower, inspire and elevate the Southern Arizona LGBTQ+ and allied business community through education, networking and effective advocacy.

Our vision is a vibrant and inclusive business community where LGBTQ+ and allied professionals achieve economic and social equity throughout Southern Arizona.

The TLGBTCC was started in the early 1990s as the Community Business Association, a private group to provide a place for LGBT business people to gather and find mutual support through networking. Over the years we have grown our mission to include advocacy, education and increased visibility for LGBT business issues within the larger community. In order to reflect this expansion of our mission, the organization changed its name to the Tucson GLBT Chamber of Commerce in 2005. At the same time, the organization opened its doors to straight allies. We have since updated our name to the Tucson LGBT Chamber of Commerce.
