Celebrating Inclusive Businesses in Southern Arizona

The Tucson LGBT Chamber of Commerce (dba The Gaymber) is pleased to announce the launch of our annual Inclusive Business Awards. These awards set out to recognize, celebrate, and raise awareness of businesses and individuals who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and support for the LGBTQ+ and allied business communities of Southern Arizona.

In today’s diverse and dynamic world, inclusive businesses are more crucial than ever. Inclusive businesses actively seek to include the contributions and perspectives of all team members, especially those from underrepresented or marginalized groups. By embracing inclusivity, we can build stronger, more innovative teams and create a workplace where everyone thrives.

The Gaymber is now accepting nominations for the Inclusive Business Awards in five categories. Awards will be prsented at an intimate ceremony held on November 8, 2024 at the Tucson Botanical Gardens.

Recognition categories include

• Rising Star Business of the Year – Individual or company in the first 5 years of business with 50 or fewer employees.
• Queer-owned Business of the Year – Queer owned company who has had a significant impact on our LBGTQ+ community over the past year.
• Allied Business of the Year – An allied owned company who has had a significant impact on our LBGTQ+ community over the past year.
• Non-Profit Champion of the Year – A non-profit organization who has had a LGBTQ+ significant impact
• Mentor Business of the Year – Individual or business who has used their knowledge and experience to elevate emerging businesses within our LGBTQ+ community.

Nominate a business or leader who embodies the spirit of inclusivity and has made a positive impact on our community. Let’s celebrate those who inspire us all. Nominations close October 11, 2024 at 11:59 PM. Inclusive leadership not only enhances team dynamics but also drives organizational success by creating a more innovative, engaged, and high-performing workforce. Event sponsorship Opportunities

There are a limited number of event sponsorships available to amplify your brand and show support for Inclusive Businesses of Southern Arizona. Sponsors will receive recognition pre-event, social media exposure, and recognition at the event.
